IT Support Engineer [Athens, GREECE]



Job Description 

We require person with two to three (2-3) year’s providing IT Infrastructure field support which includes troubleshooting hardware, software, operating system issues and problems and fixing the issues without impacting / violating the hardware warranty or customer security compliance requirements. 

Hands on experience in installing, troubleshooting and fixing desktops, printers, laptop and other computer peripherals hardware problems. Experience or ability to follow installation instructions in installation and troubleshooting desktop applications.

Basic knowledge of enterprise LAN and WAN setups and concepts. Ability to perform smart hand activity under instruction based activities at sites. Ability to lift / move computer equipment weighing up to 25Kgs.

Skilled in desk side support and PC break/fix including basic administration of Windows O/S. Basic Mac O/S support need to provide by FTE   Subcontractor to identify through transition and communicate in advance locations where basic MAC O/S support may be required. Once the locations and quantities are known, Subcontractor and Company will mutually agree a support strategy for Mac O/S support Company to provide MAC O/S training as required to meet support requirements.

Experience with Anti-spyware and Anti-virus software. Some usage Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and RDP.

Smart hand support for peripheral and networking hardware, including, but not limited to: monitors, keyboards, mice, printers, fax machines, scanners, routers, wireless routers, switches, firewalls, racks, cabinets, multi-port data termination panels all under ‘Smart Hands’ capability supported.

Ability to troubleshoot issues with systems and networks using good deductive reasoning skills under ‘Smart Hands’ capability supported.

Good written and oral communications skills with clients and management. Good people skills. Ability to work with deadlines and complete tasks on-time.

Preferred technicians with an Associate’s Degree in Electronics and CompTIA A+ Certification.


Languages (good level written and oral communications): English, Greek

Persons Required : up to two(2) persons

Available options : Part-Time(3 days per week , 8h per day, 24h per week)

Contract Type : Employment or Independent Contractor

Type of Work : Onsite
